Commissions are a beautiful way for me to work closely with you, and create your perfect painting
So how do commissions work?
It might be that you’re searching for a special gift for somebody, have a spot on your wall you’d like to fill, or you’ve seen a painting of mine that’s sold that you absolutely love. The first stage of a commission is an open discussion about your desires for your perfect painting! This could be via email or over a video call, whichever suits you best.
Some of the things you should consider:
What size painting do you want?
Where will the painting go?
Do you have a specific colour scheme?
Do you have a budget in mind?
Is there a timescale?
Once we’ve had an initial discussion about your requirements, and come to an agreement about how the finished product should look, I’m ready to get to work! By this point we will have an agreed budget and timescale in place. To get started I take a 50% deposit. This secures your spot in the diary. Now the fun can start!
Throughout the process, I’ll update you with images so you can feed back.
It’s important to me that we get this just right.
Once you approve the final painting and the remaining 50% is paid, it’s ready to ship!
